One of the best things about the job is that it lets me see
on the way out I saw some unexpected friends
who had the fish market all to themselves!
Hopefully 2015 will be as great of year as 2014 was for caake. We are incredibly grateful to have been able to be a part of so many celebrations. This year we want to share even more with you all through this blog.
Often amongst the flurry of catching up and celebrating, a moment of clarity comes when the cake is to be cut. Eyes are watching, thanks is given, prayers are said and there is a focal point to the whole get together. It is not only when the sugar is served but things of substance are said. I was lucky enough to have been a part of Jessica's 1st birthday and it was such a joy to hear Ethan and May Sze's gratefulness and commitment to showing Jessica God's most precious things, inviting family and friends to share the journey with the Zuo trio.
It would be a special day if people got a nice piece of cake, but it would be a spectacular day if that piece of sugar brought people together over life's great moments. That's what I would love caake to be to everyone it serves and what I hope to share with you all through tips of how we tried and tales of how we triumphed.
